1. Shabondama Soap Company Ltd.
The Shabondama Soap Group was founded in 1968, and has developed into one of the select few Japanese manufacturers specializing in producing natural soaps that are additive-free. Our non-additive soap products are popular in Shanghai, Taiwan, Korea and also in many other areas and countries. Visitors to our factory are welcome to watch the raw materials and production processes that we use to make our high quality, non-additive soaps. We also provide a video presentation explaining the environmental pollutants that are caused by domestic waste water containing additives for making soaps.
2. TOTO
TOTO was founded in 1917, and is now a leader in the Japanese sanitary ware industry. In order to assist in improving peoples' standard of living, TOTO pioneered the development and manufacture of flushing toilets in Japan. In TOTO's first plant in Kokura, people can witness the latest production technologies and production processes for pedestal pans and basins, and our second plant exhibits the production and assembly processes for water faucets and their related parts. TOTO now has a total of eight production bases in China and primarily specializes in the production of ceramic bathroom accessories, water faucets, bathtubs and kitchen ware such as kitchen sinks and more.
3. Nippon Steel Corporation, Yawata Steel Works
Founded in 1901, Nippon Steel Corporation is the largest steelmaker based in Japan, and its predecessor, Yawata Steel Works, is a state-owned Japanese enterprise. The corporation plays an important role in the steel making industry both domestically and internationally. If you visit Yawata Steel Works, you can view iron ore being melted in blast furnaces and the red-hot iron being rolled out and formed.
4. Toyota Motor Kyushu Corporation
Toyota is a world famous multi-national company that has gained great popularity in the global automotive market. Toyota Motor Kyushu Corporation, the core enterprise of Toyota, is constantly striving to develop more advanced, higher quality automobiles. As a result of these efforts, Kyushu products are exported to over 70 countries all over the world.
Visitors to Kyushu Corporation can go to the vehicle assembly workshop and explore the many facets of our production, such as the advanced technologies being used which focus on both safety and our environment. This results in visitors gaining a fuller understanding of Toyota Motor Kyushu Corporation and its products.
5. Nissan Motor Corporation Kyushu Plant
The Nissan Motor Corporation Kyushu Plant was constructed in 1975, and was the first automobile manufacturer established in Kyushu. It primarily focuses on manufacturing engines. Of all the Nissan Motor Corporation plants, the Kyushu plant has the largest production capacity. In the visitors' center of the Kyushu Plant, people can learn about the history of Nissan, the automobiles themselves, and they can also touch vehicles on exhibition.
6. Yaskawa Electronic Corporation
Yaskawa was established in 1915, and specializes in: electronic devices (like AC drives, switches, and more); the promotion of industrial automation; and the research and development of mechatronics, robotics, and many other products made using the most cutting-edge technologies.
