Hibikinada Coastal Industrial Complex

This is an area where land reclamation (2,000 ha) has created an integrated industrial park with large port facilities. The area is also greatly expected by Kitakyushu to become a new industrial area. Currently, a 15 m deep-water berth and access roads are being established based on the framework of the Hibikinada Hub Port. Furthermore, due to the historical and geographical advantages of being the most adjacent port to Asia including China and Korea, it is the most suitable area for production/trade bases targeting Asia.

Marina Cross Shinmoji

Marina Cross Shinmoji is an area that is developing as a logistics base for western Japan, logistics companies and makers are planning to locate here.

This area enables access to the expressway network through the Shinmoji interchange, as well as provides domestic vessel services to Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo, and Tokushima. Necessary transfer modes for domestic transport are established. With the Kitakyushu Airport that allows landing and takeoff  24 hours a day and the adjacent Tachinoura Container Terminal, a further leap forward is expected as one of the nation's major logistics bases that can handle multiple transfer modes through sea,land,air.

 Science Park

The Science Park is located in one of the quiet residential blocks, and is the most suitable area for establishing research/training facilities and software businesses. It is surrounded by abundant natural resources such as the Hibikinada Green Park. Resort facilities are also located in the area.
